Hey there! I think I might be on time for once, August Loot Anime box just arrived and this month's theme is not a surprise, BACK TO SCHOOL.
Hey there! Creo que esta vez llego a tiempo, Loot Anime de Agosto acaba de llegar y el tema de este mes no es una sorpresa, VUELTA AL COLE.
The first thing in the box is this bento box, and I'm glad they listened to the old otakus that wanted some old school manga/anime. This item is Utena themed (Shōjo Kakumei Utena), an anime that I used to watch when I was a teenager and that I loved, also it was pretty weird and if I ever missed one episode then I didn't understand anything at all. Personally, I don't think I'm going to use this item, I might be wrong, I might use it to store cookies when we do some kind of gathering and I'm not lazy to bake, so, who knows? But, in general, although I think it's a bit small, I think a bento box is a good item, it's useful for people who go to school, college, work (not people like me who work from home, we're boring), it has two racks, only the top one is dishwasher/microwave safe, so there's that, it also has a pair of chopsticks, that are a bit too small. In general is similar to a lot of other bento boxes out there, it's okay, it's cute and it's Utena themed so I like it.
Second thing in the box is this tie from Danganronpa, a game and anime that's similar to a few other manga/anime/japanese movies out there. I few months ago I watched Kami-sama no Iu Toori, and couple of other movies (BL) that had almost the same plot. They all remind me of the old Battle Royale (1st movie and manga), which I used to love when I was a teenager. Although it's been done thousand of times I still think it looks interesting but that's not what I'm supposed to be talking about here. The item is a tie from this anime, from one of the main characters. Although I think it's quite okay even if you're not a fan of the anime because of the subtle design, I don't really like the shiny material of the tie. It's an okay item.
Lo segundo en la caja es esta corbata de Danganronpa, un juego y anime que es muy parecido a algunos otros manga/anime /películas japonesas que hay pululando por ahí. Hace unos meses vi Kami-sama no Iu Toori y un par de otras películas (BL) que tenían casi la misma temática. Todos ellos me recuerdan a la antigua Battle Royale (la primera película y el manga), la cual me gustaba cuando era adolescente. A pesar de que se ha hecho miles de veces sigo pensando que parece interesante, pero eso no es de lo que se supone que debería estar hablando. El objeto es una corbata de uno de los personajes principales de este anime. Aunque creo que está bastante bien si no eres un fan del anime porque tiene un diseño bastante sutil, no me gusta mucho el material brillante de la corbata. Pero está bien.
The next thing are three A5 (I think) prints of Digimon Adventure Tri. I was a huge fan of Digimon back in the day and knowing that it's already the 15th anniversary makes me feel really old. Although the style of the illustrations seems a bit different than the original they look pretty similar, which I always appreciate. There's not a lot to say about it, they're cool, again, thanks for remembering that 'mature' people also buy this box.
Lo siguiente son tres impresiones A5 (creo) de Digimon Adventure Tri. Yo solía ser muy fan de Digimon en su día y saber que ya es el 15 aniversario me hace sentir muy vieja. Aunque el estilo de las ilustraciones parece un poco diferente al original se parece bastante, lo cual se agradece. No hay mucho que decir al respecto, geniales, una vez más, gracias por recordar que la gente "madura" también compramos esta caja.
The fourth thing in the box is a manga, I don't know how many times do I have to repeat the same. I don't want the volume one of a series because I don't want to start a new series every month. As this was Persona 3 I was slightly interested and I was going to give it a try but when I checked the drawings inside I found the whole manga to be too dark, the image below is one of the pages that don't look that dark but the rest is just full of black space which always makes manga harder to read.
La cuarta cosa en la caja es un manga, no sé cuántas veces tengo que repetir lo mismo. No quiero el primer tomo de una serie porque no quiero empezar una nueva serie cada mes. Como se trataba de Persona 3, me interesaba un poco y le iba a dar una oportunidad, pero cuando hojeé el manga me di cuenta de que era demasiado oscuro, la imagen de abajo es una de las páginas que no es an oscura pero el resto es prácticamente lleno de espacio negro que siempre hace que el manga más difícil de leer.
The next thing is an Assassination Classroom whiteboard (white?). I don't read the manga, I've been wanting to do it for a while but I didn't have time. If you're a fan of the manga you're going to like this even more but I think it's an okay item, it's maybe too small and the fact that the character takes half the whiteboard is annoying but I find it kinda useful, you can stick it to your fridge with magnets or put it on your desk with the stand, it also has three magnets that you can put over the face of Koro Sensei, I put them on the fridge. Not bad.
Lo siguiente es una pizarra de Assassination Classroom. No he leído el manga aunque he querido leerlo desde have un tiempo pero no he tenido tiempo. Si eres un fan del manga te va a gustar más, pero aún así creo que está bien, quizás es demasiado pequeño y el hecho de que el personaje ocupe la mitad de la pizarra molesta, pero me parece que es bastante útil, puedes pegarlo a la nevera con los imanes que lleva detrás o ponerlo en el escritorio con el soporte, también incluye tres imanes que puedes poner en la cara de Koro Sensei, yo los he puesto en la nevera. No está mal.
This month's phone charm is in the shape of a spiral notebook, it's supposed to be Yume's notebook, the mascot of Loot Anime. It's an okay charm but I think they made better ones in the past.
El colgante de este mes tiene la forma de un cuaderno de espiral, se supone que es el cuaderno de Yume, la mascota del Loo tAnime. El colgante está bien pero creo que lo han hecho mejor en el pasado.
In general I think this month, after a long long time, the box was really worth it. Just the bento box is good enough to make up for everything else that's inside the box but we also have the tie, which is good, the whiteboard, the keychains and the prints. The manga and the poster with all the items in the box are two bigs no-no for me. For once I'm happy with the Loot Anime box, well done.
En general creo que este mes, después de mucho tiempo, la caja vale la pena. Sólo la caja de bento ya es suficientemente buena para compensar todo lo que haya dentro de la caja, pero también tenemos la corbata, la cual está bien, la pizarra, los llaveros y las ilustraciones. El manga y el póster con todos lo que viene en la caja son dos grandes no-no para mí. Por una vez estoy feliz con Loot Anime, bien hecho.

Lo primero en la caja es de esta fiambrera/bento, y me alegra saber que han escuchado a los viejos otakus que queríamos manga/anime de la vieja escuela. El tema de este objeto es Utena (Shōjo Kakumei Utena), un anime que solía ver cuando era adolescente y que me encantaba, también era bastante raro y si alguna vez me perdía un capítulo entonces no entendía nada de nada. Personalmente, no creo que vaya a utilizar este objeto, puedo estar equivocada, podría usarlo para llevar galletas cuando hagamos algún tipo de reunión y no me de pereza para hornear, así que, ¿quién sabe? Pero, en general, aunque creo que es un poco pequeña, creo que un bento es un buen objeto, es útil para las personas que van a la escuela, la universidad, el trabajo (no para la gente como yo, que trabajamos desde casa, somos unos aburridos) , tiene dos pisos, sólo la parte superior se puede usar en el lavavajillas / microondas, eso es lo que hay, también tiene un par de palillos, que son demasiado pequeño. En general parecida a muchas otras cajas bento que hay por ahí, está bien, es mona y es de Utena por lo que le gusta.

Last thing in the box are this gachapon keychain figures from Fruits Basket, again, thanks for the old school manga, I never read it because it's a shojo and I hardly read shojo, but I had a friend that really liked it and I think I watched a couple of episodes of the anime. I appreciate that the put the whole pack together, they're small and cute and perfect to put on your backpack or keys.
Lo último en la caja son estos llaveros de gachapon de Fruits Basket, una vez más, gracias por el manga de la vieja escuela nunca lo leí porque es shojo y prácticamente nunca leo shojo, pero tenía una amiga a la que le gustaba mucho y creo que he visto un par de episodios del anime. Aprecio que hayan puesto el pack entero, son pequeñas, monas y perfectas para poner en la mochila o las llaves.
