Hey there! We're on a roll here and I'm going to take advantage of it now that I can. Here's the second book review from 2019, which is interesting seeing as we're in July.
Hey there! Estamos en racha así que voy a aprovechar ahora que puedo. Aquí está la segunda reseña de libros del 2019, lo cual es interesante teniendo en cuenta que estamos en julio.
If I'm not mistaken this is one of the three books I bought last year, maybe two years ago, of George Orwell. Spoiler alert, I read two of them and I really liked them so I might buy more in the future but it depends on the third one.
This book, although being a fiction novel, just like the second one I read, is a view of politics in society. I would almost say that it's a fable for adults, using animals and a small context in time and space to talk about politics.
In fact, Animal Farm, written in 1945 talks about 1917's Russian revolution and criticizes Stalinism.

Este libro, aunque es una novela de ficción, al igual que la segunda que leí, es una visión de la política en la sociedad. Casi diría que es una fábula para adultos, que usa animales y un pequeño contexto en el tiempo y el espacio para hablar de política en un sentido global.

What I like about this book:
- How's written:
It's easy to read, the plot keeps you going easily, although the kind of theme is quite thick it doesn't feel heavy at all, probably because of the animals and the metaphors used. It's a short book and although I don't remember how long it took me to read it I'm pretty sure it was not more than an hour or so.
- Characters:
It's pretty obvious that each character is the embodiment of either a real character or a whole social stratum of that period, therefore they have very specific characteristics that evolve throughout the story and make each of them very unique, hateful or lovable.
- Plot:
I don't think I have anything else to say about the book, I just like it, it's a good novel, it teaches you about history, politics and society in a very understandable way, I liked it as a whole and I would definitely recommend it.

Es fácil de leer, la trama te mantiene enganchado con facilidad, aunque el tipo de tema es bastante espeso, no se siente pesado en absoluto, probablemente debido a los animales y las metáforas utilizadas. Es un libro corto y, aunque no recuerdo cuánto tiempo me llevó leerlo, estoy bastante segura de que no fue más de una hora.
-Personajes:
Es bastante obvio que cada personaje es la encarnación de un personaje real o todo un estrato social de ese período, por lo tanto, tienen características muy específicas que evolucionan a lo largo de la historia y hacen que cada uno de ellos se único, odiado o amado.
- Trama:
No creo que tenga nada más que decir sobre el libro, simplemente me gusta, es una buena novela, te enseña sobre historia, política y sociedad de una manera muy comprensible, me ha gustado en general y definitivamente lo recomiendo.
What I dislike about this book:
Besides the plot being a bit dark and quite disheartening, which obviously is because it's based on true events, I don't think there's anything I dislike about the book.
Lo que no me gusta de este libro:
Aparte de que la trama es un poco oscura y bastante desalentadora, lo que obviamente se debe a que se basa en hechos reales, no creo que haya nada que no me guste del libro.
